AIR-board® Panels arose from the experience of many years harvested from the intricacies of high-tech ski production using a special adhesive procedure for composite production parts. This process plus the development of a transparent UV-stable adhesive have made possible a low-cost industrial production of innovative translucent honeycomb constructions with the smallest of adhesion surface areas. The polycarbonate tube with a dimension of only 7 mm in combination with transparent or coloured polycarbonate coating give the AIR-board® Panels a light structure plus the highest standard of fire-resistance. The consequent further development of this success has resulted in the color AIR-board® UV PC, satin AIR-board® UV PC and metal AIR-board® UV PC products with coloured cores or aluminium honeycomb cores.
