Allplastics Engineering are proud to be associated with the completion of the Penguin Enclosure in the Sealife Aquarium in Sydney’s Darling Harbour. MPA, the Project Managers, of the $9M fit out required a number of materials for the penguin enclosures including black HDPE for slides, Polycarbonates and Acrylics which were custom cut to meet urgent deadlines. A total of 26 Gentoo penguins moved into the state-of-the-art enclosure which resembles a miniature Macquarie Island. Guests are able to meet the sub Antarctic penguins face-to-face in a chilly journey around the enclosure, which is the aquariums biggest creature investment since opening 29 years ago.

Air Board Acoustic Translucent panels were chosen by Whispering Smith Architecture in Perth for the IBN Corporation Project in Port Hedland, in Western Australia’s remote north

The 19mm thick acoustic screens from Allplastics Architecture and Building Division were specified to create a light source and noise screening in an office environment where light disbursement was required in the work areas. The installation was executed flawlessly by Construct 360 Pty Ltd

Allplastics have provided unbreakable Hard Coat 6mm thick polycarbonate mirrors for a diverse range of projects including government facilities such as police stations, mental health units and prisons. Other projects include public restrooms and boat toilets. In facilities such as these lightweight and unbreakable mirrors are the preferred choice over glass or acrylic mirrors

The polycarbonate mirror has the advantage of being almost unbreakable. This has the added advantage of safety. It is almost impossible to shatter the mirror to use broken pieces as a weapon to self-harm or harm others.
