High Impact Polystyrene
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is lightweight plastic, typically used for printing or forming applications. The surface is easily printed one or both sides, and it is ideal for signage applications. HIPS is suitable for food, dairy and medical packaging and displays. The material is tough, rigid and impact resistant, as well as being suitable for thermoforming. HIPS can be punched, sawed, and guillotined. HIPS Mirror is also available in Gold and Silver. The surface can be wrapped around columns but it has limited weatherability.
