At Allplastics we are proud to be associated with some exciting installations at the Sydney Vivid Light Festival over the last decade.

The latest installation was commissioned by ANL Design and titled "Closer". Closer was an inspirational design constructed as a series of 3D interconnected translucent cubes. Visitors were invited to enter and discover that the interior of the structure is actually a maze; where shadowy silhouettes are seen through walls and the experience is of isolation and disorientation. The installation is a commentary on social media and human relationships in the digital age.

The minimization of water aggregation in building sites is a challenge that confronts builders and plumbers in multi-storey developments. Allplastics Engineering has assisted many builders and plumbing contactors by fabricating custom made White or Grey PVC Gutters or channels to suit the specific situation on site. PVC demonstrates good chemical resistance, good impact strength and can be glued or welded on site if required. The White PVC can be unobtrusive if the surrounding walls are painted white. However, if an “industrial look” is required the grey PVC blends with concrete walls and cement renders.

With the new "black AIR-board®" product series, Design Composite not only follows the ongoing trend towards clear shapes and colours, but also gives the clever thermoplastic panels even more impact in terms of design and lighting effect. 

Black is the reduction to basics. It is the colour in which light, shadows, nuances, textures and tones come into their own, since there is no reflection and no overexposure to the eye. The result of these effects make the new panels a highlight in every room and venue.
