Allplastics supplies Rigid PVC Sheet, Rod and Tube. PVC has a very good resistance to many chemicals including concentrated acids, alkalis and alcohols. PVC has a good mechanical strength and can be easily machined, drilled, milled and tapped. Laser cutting is not recommended on PVC sheets due to the fumes released; however CNC routing can be achieved with no fumes. Moisture absorption of PVC is low and can be bonded to other surfaces by using general purpose epoxy resin.
Rigid PVC has excellent chemical and mechanical properties with singular anti corrosive features that are suitable for the chemical industry. The colour of PVC is usually grey, however Allplastics Engineering can also supply Clear PVC sheets for applications such as chemical sight glasses.
