This year the design agency Equilibrium Design created an exhibition space for an online platform and advertising campaign for the UNSW Faculty of Built Environment's enrolment and exhibition program 2015.

Allplastics supplied the contractors, Dark House Production Design with four custom fabricated internally lit Perspex plinths and forty-two linear metres of internally lit Perspex surfaces supported by custom-made wire frame legs, which in the final installation covered nearly 450m of LED tape.

 

 

Perspex frost 'Polar White' was chosen to meet the preferences and standard of Equilibrium Design. Mark Dyson, the Director Dark House Production Design commented that "The exhibition had to meet the highest standards of both design and construction to reflect the public face of the faculty, whilst the design was driven by a very clean, direct and precise graphic direction"

Mark continued "We worked with Allplastics to test and design the thinnest possible light box with perfectly clean shadow lines. The Polar White product provided a soft diffuse light and matt finish that was luminous without overpowering the exhibition objects. The delivered product was of the highest standard, manufactured to the exact design specification and proved to be the standout element of the exhibition."
