We are excited that the Barker College Redbacks team has achieved incredible results in the international First Robotics Competition (FRC) representing Australia with distinction.
Allplastics Engineering assisted the Barker College Redbacks team by providing sponsorship for various engineering plastics used in the construction of the robot shown in the attached photos and video. These included polycarbonate panels, Nylon rod, and glass filled PTFE rods.

Mar Resistant Polycarbonate Glazing for North Sydney Pool

Recently, Allplastics provided the materials for a swimming pool enclosure in North Sydney which was expertly installed by Phil La Cava of LaCava Designs.
The Mar Resistant Polycarbonate was chosen due to its superior glazing features of unbreakability surface coating on both sides which resists incidental scratches, chemical resistance and clarity.
The owners of the building were extremely impressed with the results and the expertise of the installer in achieving the desired outcome.

A recent tragedy in which Sydney CBD in which a man fell from the 10th storey of a high rise building before smashing through a glass awning and onto a pathway has prompted interest in alternatives to glass for awnings.
If clear glazing is required Mar Resistant Polycarbonate sheets of 9.5mm and 12.7mm thick can be installed with recommended supporting structures which do not have to be as heavy and expensive as steel structures which are required for glass panels. The Mar Resistant Polycarbonate will not be affected by falling tree branches, hail storms or any other falling object. (scroll down to continue...)
