Custom Made Acrylic Wine Bottle Display

The display of wine bottles in a restaurant or a hotel is an essential ingredient both in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Recently Allplastics completed a stunning Acrylic wine bottle display cabinet designed by prominent designer Jill Hoffenberg for the Neptune Palace restaurant in Circular Quay in Sydney. The Clear Acrylic display needed to support the load of almost 100 full bottles of wine as well as having clear joints with minimum glue marks visible. 15mm Thick Solid Acrylic was utilised with 3mm Ivory Acrylic as the background. The result completed by the expertise of the Allplastics fabrication team was an eye catcher especially when the unit was lit by LED lighting.

An innovative design combining clear acrylic rods with LED lighting in Events Cinemas in Top Ryde has attracted many positive reviews. The number of each cinema theatre is displayed by 25mm diameter polished acrylic rods and lit up from behind giving the theatre a distinct modern touch.
Acrylic sheet, rods and tubes are extensively utilised by designers and engineers for architectural lighting projects. The combination of LED and acrylic can achieve incredible results in retail, hotel, commercial and high end residential applications. Clear Acrylic rods will achieve the ''cool'' light effect as seen by the attached photo.

Allplastics Architectural & Building division offers a wide range of Acrylic and Polycarbonate UV resistant materials for pergolas, canopies, awnings, roofing and other outdoor enclosures. Acrylics are available in Clear, Opal, Frost and Tinted options. While offering UV resistance, acrylics can be cracked by falling tree branches or strong hailstorms. Polycarbonates are available in Multiwall (honeycomb), Clear, Opal or Tinted options. Solid Polycarbonates are also available if the user prefers not to see any lines in the awning. Polycarbonates are ideal for outdoor pergolas due to UV stability; being virtually unbreakable and easy to install. Polycarbonates are 250 times stronger than float glass.
