Cut to Size

Allplastics Engineering & Architectural Plastics

Avoiding Impacts of Collisions in Manufacturing Plants

Trolleys, forklifts, pallet jacks and similar mobile devices perform many useful functions in factories and warehouses. However, they can also cause minor and sometimes serious damage to machinery and storage vessels resulting in production down time and even injuries to operators.

Engineering plastics such as nylon, Acetal, high density polyethylene can be machined to bespoke shapes which can minimise the risks of such collisions by avoiding metal to metal impact and acting as a buffer between the stationary objects in production facilities.

Let There Be Light!

Opal Acrylic and opal polycarbonate sheets offer designers, architects, builders and households with glazing options that are safer and cheaper than glass or “rice paper” alternatives.

Allplastics can offer clients cut to size and cut to shape services for external and internal applications. Opal acrylic will diffuse the light beautifully and is eleven times stronger than glass. For heavy duty application Opal Polycarbonate offers a remarkable 250 times the strength of glass! Recently Allplastics provided the newly opened Shito Ryu Karate Do Gabu Kai International Studio with cut to size opal acrylic panels for their windows and partitions.

Promote Slide and Minimise Wear in Chutes

UHMWPE (PE1000) Sheets and rods come in a variety of thicknesses and diameters.

Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is a premium engineering polymer offering extremely high level of wear and abrasion resistance to metals and other abrasive elements. Due to its low coefficient of friction UHMWPE sheets are the ideal materials for chute liners, truck tray liners, wear pads and plates.

Furthermore, the material can be used in a wide spectrum of temperatures ranging from -260° to 80°c.

Innovative and Practical Use of PEP-Core Screens in Schools

The school classrooms and adjacent areas such as the locker room and playground can be easily transformed into more inspirational and colourful spaces with the correct selection of innovative yet practical architectural elements.

Allplastics Architectural division provided the Design Composite PEP CORE Satin opal screens for the newly refurbished bag racks at Our Lady of Rosary Primary School in Kellyville in north-west Sydney.

The PEP CORE translucent panels were selected due to their unique geometry which provides exceptional rigidity while having a very interesting decorative look.
